DON’T BE AFRAID

There are moments in our lives when we ask ourselves ‘why do I matter?’. The answer is we don’t. there are billions of people on this planet, and only the ones who give us the answers, we have been asking for centuries, matter. It’s not about to be remembered by everyone, it’s about to be remembered by someone we love. It can be a single person or it can be 10 people. In order to do something great we need to have someone beside us that gives us their support. But sometimes we get lost, lost in a maze and with every turn we take we keep getting more lost. We only get out of the maze if we seek for help. Every one gets lost in a maze once in life and we only get out when we seek for help, help from someone who has always been there for you, it can be anyone, a friend, a family member, anyone. But seeking for help doesn’t mean we’re weak, it simply means that we’re not alone, that we have someone we can talk to, someone we can cry in the arms of. But sometimes we need professional help, a therapist, but does that mean were crazy? No, it just means we are not scared to face our demons. Everyone needs help sometime in their life, it might not be now, or soon but it will happen, but we shouldn’t be afraid to talk about it. We can talk about it to our parents, our mentors or even our friends, who we trust with so many things. It doesn’t matter what people think, people think many things, if we listen to them, we will never succeed. Never be afraid, if you’re afraid you will always be lost. Most importantly, never think that there is something wrong with you if you’re depressed. Yes, depressed, it’s not a forbidden word, you can say it. I am only 14, and I have seen so many people think of depression as a disease, why? It’s not something you can cure with some pills, you can’t cure it because it’s not a disease, it’s a feeling that sucks our happiness out of us, like a Dementor, and you need to eat some chocolate to feel a little better. No, chocolates not going to make you feel better completely, but it helps. If you want to feel better you have to talk to someone, and never think something is wrong with you, that you are broken, as john green once said "We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken."DON’T BE AFRAID
